I have recently been asked who is my sponsor. I have an EB1-Extraordinary Ability which I thought I do not have any sponsor, is that right?

Don't you have an attorney handling your case? If not, you should. An EB-1 EA petition is not Do-It-Yourself (DIY) stuff seriously, I think.
