Hi,
My EB2 Labor has been filed in Dec 2007 and they came back with a query in Jan 2008. My attorney has filed a response immediately. We have not heard back any thing till now and my attorney says there is nothing much she can do except waiting. My H1B 6 years will be completed towards end of Jan 2009. I am very much worried now if in case my labor gets denied later in 2008 and I don't have any time left on H1.
What are my options now?
How long do I need to wait for labor processing to complete? I thought PERM takes max 3 months only. But mine is more than 6 months now.
Can we call USCIS to find out the status?
Can they deny my Labor (I work for a big company with 60K+ employees)?
Do I have to leave the country if labor gets denied or will i have opportunity to do some thing?
Is it good idea to apply for labor through a different employer (Just a backup)?
