GC Process question

Hi All,

One of friends says that while ur working for Comp A and have the GC process from Comp A, you can ask Comp B to start the GC process (as a future employee...) somehow I was not able to digest this!!! Is this possible?

One could apply for 2 PERMs from different employers. One could also apply for 2 I-140s from different employers. But, one can only adjust status once using I-485. At this stage, one would need to pick while I-140 s/he wants to use as the basis for adjustment of status. So your friend is kind of correct.
