Changing empoyer while GC is in process

Hi,

My employer is sponsoring GC for me and labour approval is in progress.
I browse through forum and came to know the next two steps are I-140 and I-485.

Now my questions is if I want to chnage the employer without disrupting the whole GC process then how is it possible?
1. I mean at what stage of GC is it possible to change emmployer?
2. If the job description is changed when I transfer to new empoyer, does it have any effect on GC process?

If you change your job and do not intend to work for your old employer anymore, you will have to start your GC process all over from your new employer.

On the other hand, if you intend to work for your old employer at the time your GC is approved and if the old employer agrees to continue the GC process while you work for some other employer, your GC process can continue with your old employer. EB GC is for future employment. In this case, you should have an intent to join the old employer when your GC is approved or before that.
