Switch from EB2 to EB1

Hello,

I work for a blue chip company. My emplyer filled for my GC in 2006 in EB2 categoty. I received my EAD and 485 is pending because of priority date. Now in last two years I got two promotions and per my company policy my current position is eligible for EB1.

is it possible to switch my case to EB1. please advice.

Yes, it is possible if you have direct reports and you manage people. In fact, your EB2 labor may have lost its validity as you seem to be working on a different job profile than what the labor was applied for.
