My Husband works for a pharmacy company and we wree filed under the EB3 catergory. Friends of ours who have been through the same process are working for a different company and there lawyers filed there last phase of the green card in the Eb 2 catergory. They have had their green card for a year now. My question is this - who does one report this unfair treatment of professionals too - were told by our lawyers this was illegal to do - now how can it be illegal when the immigration board gave these greencards to the friends of ours.
How can we be treated this unfairly?? Please channel me in a direction that I can gets some answers - I personally think we are being expolited by this big pharmaceutical firm and its lawyers - but I could be wrong

I am not sure what you mean by unfair. EB-3, EB-2 etc. are based on company requirements for the specific job. You having a degree that could qualify for EB-2 does not mean your job requires EB-2 qualifications. Do some reading on your own and find the right channel.

      thanks for the reply

Thank you for the reply. Let me be a little more specific. I have done SOOO much research on this and I cannot find the right answer. Company A employs my husband and company B employs our friend. They both are employed with the same qualification and for the same job, different companies same job same job description, filed for the GC process under the EB3 catergory. WHen the I 485 is filed my friends company changed his category and filed it under the EB 2 category and this got him the GC in three to five months. That was one year ago. We are still in the same positon. Thats my predicament. I truly understand the whole category thing and how it depends on the job that is on offer. BUT to change the category so your employees get there GC sooner???? Please help you seem to be very knowledgable.
