Hope you are all having a great day!
I am in the process of obtaining the green card through employment and here is my timeline:
04/26/2019: I-765. I-131, I-485 filed
05/28/2019: Fingerprints appointment
09/04/2019: Completed review of the I-485 application, case status changed to: Ready to be scheduled for the interview
09/06/2019: I-765 approved (I-131 case status was never updated by the USCIS)
09/11/2019: EAD card delivered via USPS
10/02/2019: called USCIS to check the status of the I-485 and was told that as of 09/30/2019 my application is waiting for the available time for the interview in the San Francisco field office.
My questions are:
- Does anyone have any experience/idea on how backed up the San Francisco field office is or how long the wait time is to have the interview scheduled?
- What are your experiences during the interview (what the green card is filed through employment)?
Any feedback is welcome. The waiting and inability to plan anything is quite difficult...
