Simultaneous GC processing and H1B

Could you help us out with the following problem:
We have undergone all the steps of the consular processing procedure to procure an employment based green card.

Our case is complete i.e. I 140 and I 485 has been approved. We have been interviewed as per consular processing requirement. (interview date 17th june 2008)

We are waiting for the priority date published in the bulletin by US immigration to reach Oct, 03. Right now its Feb. 03.


Qs ) can we get a new HIB. Do we need to leave country for GC change from new HIB?

What you are saying does not make sense.

You either file I-485 or do consular processing. Not both.

If your I-485 is approved, you already have the green card. You don't need H1B in that case.

Please send the correct facts and we may guide.
