So I’m a registered nurse working on a EAD through my university that expires 7/20. My employer agreed to file an I-140, the schedule a nurse green card but it was only submitted a couple weeks ago. I’m literally about to send myself in a tailspin because i know my time will expire and I will be out of a job. I’m just desperate to figure out how to continue working. Any advice is welcome.
My priority date is 5/13/20 so that won’t be current anytime soon. The hospital’s attorney is of no help whatsoever. I’m just here hoping to get some answers.

You should consul a lawyer for your case. YES, you are highly likely unable to work. Why do you wait so long to apply for either H-1B or whatever the nurse visa called. If I were you, i would not be looking for advise on a blog. I would talk to a lawyer. Immigration violations are pretty serious. I have been living on different status in this country for 20 years and finally starting to adjust my status.

    06/03 Rejected again-same reason
    06/13 Resubmitted with I-864
07/07 Lockbox emailed back and ask to resubmit
