Hi, I have a very strange situation where my company lawyers filed a I485 and I-765 and I-131 for me and my spouse back in October, 2020. then a day later they realized there was some mistake so they filed another set. Although they kept saying fee was submitted once, there was one set that was active. But that did not happen. I got my EAD on the application that was supposed to be withdrawn. I got RFE now to send a signed letter to withdraw that application. Lawyers say that when my application will be withdrawn, the EAD will become invalid. The other set would continue. I am quite upset with all this, what should I do?

As Lawyer said, If you withdraw first petition then Employment authorization will be also cancelled.. Better you can have a discussion with immigration Attorney to keep the first petition alive. If that is not possible then you will need to withdraw and wait for second petition to be adjudicated.
