  • Second green card consular processing based on EB5

Hi, all! I was married to an USC back in 2008 and obtained a conditional green card based on that marriage. However, our marriage ended in divorce in 2010 before I could filed I-751 to remove conditional status. I didn’t stay in the USA and left after my divorce was finalized. I went back to my home country and turned in the green card thinking I never intended to come back to the US again.

After so many years, I have established a great life in my home country and I invested in the eb5 program for another green card petition in 2020. I was wondering if I am still eligible for another green card again. My consular processing is pending an interview soon as I just received my I-526 approval notice.

i wonder if my previous green card petition will impact my chance for my eb5 visa approval. If anyone has similar experience, please share! Thanks!
