  • Different addresses for green card

    Hello All,

My Employer is planning to apply my Green Card (labor) next month. My Employer has multiple work locations. My Employer is going to apply the green card from Washington DC office location, but I stay in Delaware and work from Delaware Office Location.

    1. Will this impact the process in anyway?
    2. Do I have to move to Washington DC office to work at any point of time during the Green card process? If yes, please let me know at which stage?
3.And if I have to move to Washington DC office to work then do i have to move to stay in Washington DC or can i still stay in Delaware and work from Washington DC office?

    Appreciate your help!

    Hi Dreamflower,
You will require following when you apply for GC through job:
1.Evidence of inspection, admission or parole into the United States (Form I-94, Arrival Departure Record)
2.If you have already been approved for an immigrant petition, submit a copy of the approval notice sent to you by the USCIS
3.Job offer letter from your employer
4.Two color photos taken within 30 days
5.Form G-325A, Biographic Data Sheet (for applicants between the ages of 14 and 79)
    6.Form I-693, Medical Examination
7.Form I-864, Affidavit of Support (completed by the sponsor)

so when its through employer address shouldn't be an issue.
    ALL THE BEST
