Employer Change while processing Greencard

I am currently working as a consultant for a company. The client company is ready to offer me a full time position. My current consulting company has already processed my Labor and I140. If my client company is willing to do my green card, is it possible to keep my current priority date and continue processing my green card? Or do I have to start all over again with a new priority date?
In both cases, whats the process ?.

Note : I have 3 years of h1b still left.
