Changing employer with I140 approval

Hi,

Please help me with my question

I have I-140 approval from my old employer and now I changed this employer. My new employer(Client) applied for H1B and will process my Green card. We recently got receipt number for H1B from USCIS. So I can start working with new employer.

My question is, what if my priority date(Sept 2010) becomes currect while I'm in middle of GC process with new employer? (Labor or i140)

Can I still get the old priority date on my new I140?

So are you saying I can't hold on to my priority date at all?

Or I need i140 approval from new employer to take advantage of old 140 approval?
