Guru's
I am a kind of guy no knowledge of immigration process and rules a lot, I am working for a fortune 500 corporation on H1B visa , My PERM was filed under EB3 with PD of Jan 2010, and EB3 I140 got approved, during my call with attorney,he kind of mentioned that by just reapplying I140 under EB2 would bring me into faster lane, and he was reapplied I140 and it's got approved
(took 2 months) 15 days ago. I have copy of approval notice and my fried confirmed that it's in EB2.
I learned that it wouldn't be possible to port from EB3 to EB2 without reapplying the PERM. But in my case it's just ported into EB2 by reapplying the I140 only.
Please suggest and help here, did my attorney made any mistake or wrong which can cause future problems.
Regards
