As per most recent Feb 2012 Visa bulletin, the EB2 for India has progressed as far as Jan 2010 which is a very good news.
My first H1B is coming to an end and the lawyers are soon gonna file my H1B extension later this year which means I have only 3 to 3.5 more years
However, my company hasn't yet filed my PERM It started asking for details from me and my manager about my position and I provided evidence of all skills listed for my job/position through letters from my universities around June 2011. It seems the lawyers request DOL for what wages would be for positions and then my company would do recruitment and after that PERM would be filed? Or are all these a part of PERM? The lawyers have to inform me of the date they file my PERM, right? coz that would be my PD in future, right? Is the preparation to file PERM so long and tedious?
