I130 enter without inspection, why interview is here?

I entered in the us without inspection I am married with US citizen, Uscis Schedule i130 interview here (US), Why? thought was going to be abroad. After the interview can i apply for work permit, while I'm waiting on the waiver. I hope you can answer my questions Thank you

If they have scheduled your interview, you must attend it.

If you have applied for I-485, you can apply for work permit (EAD).
