I am married to a US citizen and would like to apply for GC through her. I am currently on valid H1B visa. My company has also applied for my GC under EB2 but the date is not current and looking at the way things are moving, that might take a few years. My question is - can I travel out of US on my H1B while I file for a spousal GC? I read some where that I cannot travel for 3 months once I file a spousal GC. Kindly advise. Thank you.
