I am married to a US citizen and I have 3 children, we got our temporary green card in June 2013. Earlier this year we had disagreements with my husband and we seperated. The homeland security went to his house this week for what they say a post green card visit to see if we are still together. My husband told them we are seperated but will work it out. They wanted to make him sign a waiver saying our marriage is not real but he refused. We are in the process of getting back together but i want to know since i have a temporary green card will i be allowed to file for permanent residency? What will i need to do to prove them we are still married since they found us seperated?
