  • Consummated marriage

Quick question: I recently got married in court house and I'm starting my I-130 and I-485 application. The thing here is our marriage party won't be before March. There is a section here in "Who may not file form I-130" that says and i quote " A spouse, if you and your spouse were not both physically present at the marriage ceremony, and the marriage was consummated.

A consummated marriage for us in our tradition is after the wedding party which will be in march. do i fall under this category?

I'm already here in the states with a B2 visitor visa.

---hi we have the same situation. Have you been able to file all your documents? It means if one of you is not there during the ceremony of your marriage.
