Hello,
I recently married a US citizen, and have some concerns about the future immigration forms regarding how my middle name has been recorded.
Since I have an Indian passport with no middle name field, my name is printed as Given Name: P Q and Surname: R, where Q is my father's name.
Now, while getting the US marriage certificate, Q was entered in the middle name field, not in the first name field. I am wondering how the name should be entered in the I-130 form, part B(1). Should I still follow the passport format and put P Q under first name or should I now follow the marriage certificate format? My current H-1B visa does not have anything under middle name, and uses P Q as first name, which adds to the confusion.
Thanks for any help.
