  • Duplicates of forms required for concurrent filing I-130, I-485, I-765?

    Hey all,

I am putting my immigration package together and noticed that some forms require the same supplements. Is it really necessary to submit duplicates each time another form requires the same thing? i.e., 5 passport style photos and 2 times form G-325A for the intending immigrant? Or is it ok as long as everything is just included in the package, without so many duplicates?

    Thanks!

There doesn't seem to be a specific USCIS rule to avoid redundancy of forms with this submittal. My opinion and experience are that each primary form must stand alone with all its supporting documents: G-325A with both I-130 and I-485. The required passport-style photos for I-130 (if spouse), I-485, I-765, I-131. I-94 with each form, etc.

I've found that with your own printer, it might take you a half hour to insert duplicates of various supporting documents with each primary form.

While it makes for a smoother package to avoid duplication of forms, a USCIS RFE for insufficient copies of G-325A or passport-style photos, etc., is a risk you might encounter.

      Hi,

Me and my husband just recently concurrently filed AOS and when I was putting together the package I treated each form as separate and attached all needed evidence. It created duplication, triplicating... but I wanted to avoid problems of not submitting enough. So far so good -case is being processed and just about to have biometric.

      Good luck,

      Hana
