  • I-130 Approved for MIL living with us.. Unclear about next steps. Please help..

Hello, my MIL is currently living with us and we filed her I-130 application and I-485 Application together. She did her interview around April 26th and we received the I-130 approval notice shortly thereafter (early May). However we have not gotten any other documents from USICS about the next steps. She is supposed to be travelling in a month and while we have her Advance Parole document we would prefer that she travels with her physical green card. For my mom (who was living abroad at that time) I recollect that there was some National Visa Center process and she did her interview in the local consulate abroad and they stamped her passport. We paid the green card fee when she got to the US but not sure how the process works if you are already in the US.

Can anybody give us guidance on what to expect next please? I tried checking her case status but it just tells us that the petition has been approved. I even tried to go to the site to pay for her physical greencard and it says that they have no record. Lastly, if she doesn't get the green card before she travels, what should we expect when she travels back to the US using her Advance parole doc? Is it a straightforward process? Should she carry the I-130 Approval Notice with her as well?

    Thanks in advance..

they issue her the advance parole for a reason, so u don't rush them. the only solution i see is to wait till u get the green card which can take up to 120 days.
