Entry after green card / medical student outside USA.

Hi guys ... my aunt filed F-4 category visa on 12 jan 2004 and our all documents including civil and sponsorship are completed and submitted. Our PD will become current on dec 2016... i am worried as i am already a medical student outside USA so i intend to come back alone to my home country after getting only green card or temporary green card ... Is this possible to go only to USA once in a year for 4 years because i only have summer vacation for 1 month ... does it effect my citizenship status? please help .. do tell other complications.

Once you have a green card, you are required to file a re-entry permit if you wish to stay outside of the US for more than certain amount of time (I-131 form). The re-entry permit can be fore 6 months, 1 year or 2 years. Good Luck.

If you stay outside of USA without obtaining re entry permit, you will lose your green card.
