I-130 and I-485

Hello,

I was just wondering is filing both forms I130 and I485 make it faster and if so how long would it take?
Because I'm on an OPT student Visa and it will expire this June, So Am I going to have to quit my job until i get a decision from USCIS or would they extend my visa?

Yes, you should file I-130 and I-485 together if you are married to a US citizen. You can file I-765 for EAD and I-131 for AP, both for free, together with the I-485. The EAD/AP should be approved in around 3 months, and they will allow you to work and travel, respectively.
