After my fiance and me get married, we intend to stay and travel in my home country for 2-3 months and then, eventually go to the US.
I intend to apply for an immigrant visa at the US consulate in Croatia.
I understand that one of the first forms that needs to be submitted is an I-130 form (Petition for an alien relative ). I dont understand where the form needs to be sent. Does the form need to be submitted at the US consulate in Croatia or do we have to mail it to NVS in Nebraska, as my fiance is a Colorado resident and that is where we intend to reside.
Also, there is a form I-864. Can you tell me at what point of time of the visa application the form needs to be submitted? Does that form need to be submitted before or after I have been issued an immigrant visa? Where would we have to send the form?
When do we have to submit, if at all the biographic information form ( G-? ) ?
