hi,
i recently got citizenship. while i was on GC, i married to H1b holder(my wife).
Her GC is in process through her employment. since it is taking long time (her 140 approved, waiting for the current dates), is it possible to apply EAD/485 to my wife through my citizenship. if its possible how log will it take? are there any risks involved. we got married 3 years ago. what arre the best options?

First check the latest visa bulletin on state department web site
travel.state.gov and look at the cut off dates for her employment category.
If they are not too far off, let her stick with that.

If they are far off like 2-3 years , you can file an I-130 + I-485 for her and it usually takes a few months to one year (depending on your location in US) to get her gc in the Immdiate relative category (spouse of USC).

One thing you must ask the USCIS helpline no. if she will need to withdraw
her first petition in order for you to file an I-130.

There are no risks here . The only thing is that for the employment category
gc, she is not dependent on any one. But she will have to depend on you for the gc that you will file.
