My father in law just became a citizen past month. I am in america on h1-b citizen. I was just wondering if anyone can show me the process on how in law can sponsor me, so i can get a green card. i heard there is a different process for a citizen petitioning for his daughter(h-4) and his husband(h1-b), who are already here on h1-b visa.?? please help me...

Your FIL can sponsor his daughter (your wife) under F3 family category
(married children of US citizens). You and your children will be derivative beneficiaries of this petition. This petition will be processed independent of your wife's and your current non-immigrant status i.e H-1 or H-4.
The current wait time for Indian citizens under F3 is about 8 years.
