Am I going to get my CG?

Please, I need advise on this. My wife and I are getting a divorce. We did the interview but I never got my CG because of name check pending (said the Immigration officer).
I guess the question is:
Am I still going to get GC?
What if the name check clears after 2 years of marriage? Will I get the permanent GC?

Once the divorced is finalized, if you have not yet received the GC then it is cancelled.

If you have received the GC and you have been married less than 2 years, you will have to file for I-751 and a waiver for joint-filing.

If you have received the GC and you have been married for more than 2 years, you can keep your GC.

You MUST notify USCIS of your divorce, in either event. You CAN NOT GET A GC if you are divorced before this GC is approved, that would be immigration fraud and it will come back to hunt you.
