    hi everyone.

    my name is asad, im a recently graduated doctor. my father is a US citizen and has applied for my green card some three years ago when i was above 21yrs old. i have two questions.

    1. whats the approximate time left for my interview at the local embassy?

    2. i`ll be applying next year for an H1 visa as ill be done with my licencing exams to practice in the usa. will being a green card applicant bea negative point or a positive point for me in the H1 visa interview.

    ANY help will be extremely appreciated,

    1.- What is your priority date? are you married? either way, it is likely to be around 10-15 years...

    2.- Neither good nor bad. H1s are dual intent visas.

      im not married, and my father was a US citizen when he applied for my green card, will it still be around 10 years? i was kinda thinking it would be around 5 years from the date of filing my application.

      one question from your reply, whats a dual intent visa?
