Hello,
I was working with company "A" and my I-140 got approved through them. Later company "A" was changed to "B" with a new Tax ID and all the resources from company "A" was transfered to company "B".
My attorney advised me to apply for a new PERM due to the change in the Tax ID, however he told that the previous Priority date can be ported to the new green card process. Is it so?
My querries:
- As PERM process is going through lots of scrutiny from DOL, in case they reject my new PERM, can I still use the previous I-140 and continue?
- In case there is any change in the Job, can I still use the same priority date in my new Green Card Process?
Thank You in advance..
Regards,
Raj
