Hi everyone

We had our medical examinations done on Friday in London. Everything went well and we all needed vaccinations which US immigration insist on.

Adults needed the first dose MMR (as we are over 25) for the visa process, and a Tet**** booster.
Kids needed first dose of Hepatitis-B vaccine. They only need the first dose for the visa process but they will be required to complete the other two doses as required for schoolkids in the US.

Medical examinations were thorough, chest x-ray, blood tests etc. We should know by Tuesday if any problem.

One thing I would say is that if you had any kind of medical condition that your own doctor was treating or had treated, get a report or letter from your doctor detailing the treatment and outcome/prognosis. I had some treatment for a condition last year and the medical examiner wants a report from my doctor about the treatment and outcome. I have to fax or scan/email it to the examiner next week.

Just two weeks until our interview...

Hi received passport after 6 days with stamp for immigration visa and Alien number. Visa valid for 6 months.
We have to pay USD 165/- for each person. We paid on line.

We were supposed to collect passport from courier company's office, after 4 working days. We went after one week. With the passport, instruction paper was given to log on to www.uscis.gov/uscis-elis. , create new account and pay uscis immigrant fees before traveling to USA .
Plan to travel on 14 of August.

A sample case scenario

I have been following this forum for a long time, but a lot of information gets jumbled up.
I have a request on behalf of everyone whose PDs are now close to being current. Can anyone of you, who recently got their visa, provide us with sort of a case scenario listing all the dates of when they got the DS-230, the interview and then the visa? This will help us make some rough estimations on our cases and plan for our move. Specially in regards to the enrolling kids in schools.
