Either you got the PD wrong, someone was aging out and sent in a request to expedite or they're pulling your leg (lying). Find out the age of derivative beneficiaries please? Thanks

just came from the embassy.after a long wait 7 AM-2PM,they gave me a refusal letter telling that I need to mail 2 certificates showing that me and my brother are really siblings.
we signed DS-230 at the end of page 4,but they didn't tell us if we got the visa or not.so I really don't know what to say.
they'll call me after they get the certificates to tell me what to do next.
really confused.

Sorry for the long wait & not being approved. But it's not too bad. If they kept your passports then you should be okay. It seems that you got a 221g paper which is pretty much a request for more evidence at the embassy/consulate level. As long as you submitted the documents they want (BC in this case) and you two have the appropriate common parent then you guys should get your visas ASAP.

I,m in F3 category because my mom is the petitioner,but since she passed away,my brother is the substitute sponsor.NVC aproved the change of petitioner for humanitarian reasons.so I still remain in F3 category,only have changed sponsor.

I submitted the missing documents to the embassy on Tuesday.yesterday(Friday) they called me and said to send the passports through mail for our visas to be delivered.I'm so happy and I still can't believe it.

I am under AP since August 2010. I am trying to contact embassy from last 8 months. But it could not happen. Please suggest me the most efficient way to contact embassy. Whenever I e-mail them through web generated form. There is answer that "the page at http//islamabad.usembassy.gov say: You already submitted the form. Thank you!" and then there is no response from embassy. In the mean time my police certificate and medical has expired. Now please guide me how to contact to embassy.

Nope. Seems that it's 1 week movement so far.

What is your category?

What's your priority date? It could be that you were affected by the retrogression so you may have to wait until you're current again to know anything.

Considering that you're Pakistani it could be that AP is still on going. I've heard of one husband being in AP for 4 years (Yemeni) the other for 8 years (anoter hostile Islamic country). Sorry don't know who you should contact. You can try to email the embassy/consulate with your problems and ask them what you should do or who to contact.
