Hello,

This is the case of my brother in law's family who are still in Indonesia, have not got their immigrant visa, but my father in law is dead now.

Is there any idea if we can request the emergency visa of my brother in law to see his father funeral service? or their immigrant visas can be expedited?. For more information, their visas are pending now in Jakarta due to one of the family member has medical problem, has to be cured first.

I appreciate any ideas.

I think if your brother in law family case approved so petitioner death no problem.you are communicate and told to nvc.now waite peried too much long so I fully hope your case solved by intraction with nvc.

Successful interviews today, we were approved and will received our passport within one week!! Yahoooo. we arrived at 5:30am to Islamabad embassy, and waited till 6:15am for opening door, at 8:00am they received our documents and asked my sons about age and marriage, then called around 8:30am. There were three people at the window who took our interview, they asked about my father, for example how long they have been living in USA, asked for pictures, looked at three pictures and asked how old is this picture. Asked my daughter about her age, asked my wife what she does. That's all. I am very happy and relaxed. We almost missed the interview due to the situation in Karachi airport on Sunday but finally made it to Islamabad.

Sorry my understanding for above case is something else.
F3 visa application is for the family unification by US citizen for their married sons and daughters
And if US petitioner died then there is no question of family unification.

We received the reply from Jakarta US Embassy that the death of my father in law has automatically revoked the immigration process. They have asked my brother in law to take their passport.

How to find NVC case number

How can I get the NVC case number. We have two petitions, same category and same priority date. NVC sent approval letters for both, but do not list which NVC case number belong to which petitioner.

I have tried calling NVC, but never able to hold anyone.

I called USCIS, and the guy said they dont keep NVC number. They only approve the petition and send to NVC who then assign the case number.

An suggestion?

we all got priority date for our case.
once the case initializes at NVC then only we can get Case number.
What is your priority date?
