Parents' interview-no decision

Hi,

I filed I 130 and I 485 for my parents in August 2009, finger printed in September 2009, Both of them received interview notification, attended interview on November 3rd 2009. the interviewer said that most probably their case will be approved, but she needed more time to look into the documents. she also got my cell # and told me that she would call me at the end of the day with the decision. did not receive any phone call, very much worried. any inputs pls.

Sorry to hear about your parents case not being approved, but there is nothing you can do right now but wait to hear back from immigration. Unless there are undisclosed immigration infractions commited by them or you, I would say do not worry about the delay, it may be just a matter of a junior officer needing to get the docs reviewed by a more senior person.

Good news!!! Their I130 and I485 were approved yesterday, awaiting welcome letter.

parents interview

Hi,
Happy to see ur parents suceesful interview.
my parents interview also scheduled next week
( finger print second time, was done on 14 th Oct 09).
Will be thankful, if u can give few tips reg interview qustions
and formalities.
