US spouse green card

Hi All

we got married in 2004 and have three kids.
my wife has US passport by birth but has been living abroad for most of her life.
All my kids have US passports through N600k.
i am a Hong Kong citizen and we have been living in HK for last 11 years .
i work in a bank abd earn around 175k USD a year

my wife is a housewife and doesn’t earn

can you please help :

1. If my wife files petition for green card for me here , does she have to be living in the US?
2. She has no income , does she still need to show affidavit of sponsorship ? Can we file for this using my income here in Hong Kong ?
3. How long does the processing take roughly ?
4. Ideal would be that she can apply here in hk and then we travel together after getting the immigrant visa but I am worried about she being able to sponsor me without income and also she baby filed for taxes ever due to no income

1. She needs to be domiciled in the US or plan to re-establish domicile no later than when you immigrate
2. Yes, she still needs to do an Affidavit of Support. No, your income can't be counted because it won't continue after you immigrate. So you will probably need to find a joint sponsor.
