greencard and passport

Hey everyone am planning to travel abroad with my greencard and my greencard has my married name on it and my passport dont and its still valid will i have any problems coming back or i need to get a new passport with my married name on it.please advise

Perosnally I would not travel without getting a new passport. You may be ok if you carry your marriage license with you. But be prepared for additional questions and maybe even a secondary inspection which would be a waste of time.

you can apply at your regional pasport office and get the name changed based on your mariage cert
