case number on EACH DOCUMENT?

I am getting ready to send in all the civil documents (in original + one copy)
and as I read instruction document from NVC, it reads - please write your case number on top right corner of each civil document.

Does it mean that I need to write their case number on ORIGINAL birth certificates? original death certificate? affidavits? etc.etc.?

It is best not to write case number on the original documents.

May be you write it on a separate paper and staple that paper to the original document.
