My husband is an LPR he filed my I-130 petition in August 2010, my priority date is 5th August 2010, anyone has idea when will my petition approve?

For everyone is different but it usually takes up to 5 months if they have all the documents needed.

You are correct. Now it is time to fill and send AOS and DS-230 with all the relavent documents.

Where did you submit the original birth certificate and marriage certificate? You'll need to get another original/certified copies and submit those with DS-230.

From the date NVC enters DS-230 & I-864 in their system it takes anything from 4-6 weeks to hear from them about interview.

ohhhh.....dats really long.my PD is 21 march 2010.so we all just have to wait and watch then.

It actually took less than what they told me over the phone. Today (after two weeks) NVC contacted me with the first stepts. My PD is current.

First step is to pay $88 (AOS) Affidavit Of Support and they also sent me the Choice of Agent which they sent to my husband in my country as well. My husband will have to complete the Choice of Agent and send it to NVC. I will have to pay the $88. All forms have an NVC case number. Only after I will pay the $88 fee, they will start processing the papers.

If your case is current then you should probably hear from them soon. Just today i received my papers in the mail.

even i got my papers today...

wow, that's good news for u and caliama.. you're lucky guys. mine has not reached NVC yet. my husband phoned them yesterday and they said they don't have my case yet.. they asked my husband to scan the approval notice and send it to them..hope to hear from them soon.. my hopes are high though, knowing that they are doing things really fast nowadays..
