Vb for feb showed no progress....its still 1jan2008.what can we expect now?? is it a 2 long years wait???

let's pray that it won't take that long.. let's wait for the release of new visa numbers which usually happens during the start of the new fiscal year which is oct.1.. i hope the VB would be current by then..

Yea I was looking at the trend from that year which was 2006, the PD retrogressed from 2002 to 2001 and then to 1999. After those two consecutive retrogressions the PDs for the next two months or so were unavailable, but after that it did start to move forward although at a slow pace. So lets hope for the best and maybe we'll see something positive by the coming summer.

My PD is Aug 24th , just checked the date on the I -130 notice. I am going to have to call them.

what is the USCIS number? is the same number as the customer service number on the I-130 notice?

Has anyone received an I 130 approval yet (people who filed in August 2010)? Is 6 months the limit for I 130 approval? Seems like they halted everything...

My PD is Aug 20,2010. My case got approved on 21st of December and I received the approval notice before christmas. But my has not been entered in NVC system yet.

The limit is 5 months. My Priority date is August 5, 2010 and Received date is August 13, 2010. My case got approved on December 17, 2010 and they sent the approval letter on the same date. The petitioner received the approval letter on December 28th, 2010. My case was entered into NVC's system on December 30, 2010. They have also notified me that they have sent the beneficiary the choice of agent form and have sent AOS packet plus copy of choice of agent form to the petitioner on January 4, 2011.

If 5 months have passed already after your RECEIVED date. You should call USCIS to inquire about your case.

I have already submitted my DS-230 form with docuement how should u know that ur included in the list of documantarily qualified cases......

i made an inquiry thru email about my case status.. they replied after a week, and they stated that my name is already included in the list of documentarily qualified cases..but i have to wait until my PD becomes current and a visa number is available for me..

m waiting for next months VB to be out...hope they make it fast....i cant wait for soooo long......
