I-130 process time

Hi all
My father ( US citizen ) had applied I-130 for me ( unmarried over 21 , away of USA ) since July 2016 . till now there is no progress even they submitted case in may 2017 ..
i don't know why they didn't send any thing to my dad's address , is it maybe because im Libyan ( one of trump entry restricted countries ) ?

That sounds like too long of a wait.

Do you have the receipt number so that you can check the status on USCIS's eGov website?

Also, check https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/, as it lists 50% and 93% case processing times. For most of the service centers, it says you can apply for a case inquiry based on your receipt date. For the Vermont center, it says they're still handling cases from 2015 (shocking).

My situation has been under review since may 2018. I couldn't speed up the process. All my requests received a similar response- "you have to wait" There is nothing to do but wait.
