Hello-- If anyone in the know could speak to this, appreciated:
Little confused-- It seems possible for a (new) 10-yr green card holder (US Permanent Resident , IR6 due to US Citizen spouse... who originally sponsored him) to try to sponsor an Adult child interested in coming to US? -- But --
How so, if the spouse is still "on the hook" monetarily for his welfare if the husband God forbid runs into any work issues that prevent him from earning a living?? (He is working now, no problem, and doing well... but it is disconcerting that US Govt will afford him no help and wife must support if any dire situation occurs before 10 years or he becomes Citizen himself).
Would not the wife as well need to sign onto any Sponsorship of an adult son in order to be potentially approved, considering?
thank you for any answers
