Obtaining Green Card While In Canada

Hi everyone!

I just recently obtained my American Citizenship (through my mother who is American). My husband and children are all Canadian and we have always lived in Canada. I am a stay at home mom... is it possible for me to sponsor my husband and children when I don’t work or live in the US? We would like to stay together until we would move. Has anyone been in this position before?

In order to do the I-864 Affidavit of Support, you will need to be domiciled in the US, or plan to establish domicile in the US no later than when your husband immigrates.
