  • Name change while filing form I-751 and SS

    Hi!
I originally filled the forms for family-based greed card with my maiden name. Now, two years later when I filled form I-751 to lift the restrictions on the green card, I used my married name (I live in NJ and in my understanding, I only had to add my marriage certificate to the form as proof of my name change). After a few days, I received a letter from immigration with an extension of my green card for two years while they're reviewing my case. The letter had my married name on it + c/o with my maiden name. My question is regarding SS. Do I need to change my name there too? Can I even do that before immigration approves my case? I also have to renew my driver's license very soon. Do I do it with my married or maiden name?
    Thank you!
