3 of the documents that i have submitted were rejected where i want to know what did i do wrong.
1. My (Petitioner) Birth certificate: It said "Please replace this with an acceptable birth certificate from a correct issuing authority." . But i have used the same birth certificate for my H1b, Green card and then for my citizenship.
2. My father's death certificate: it says "Please replace this with an acceptable divorce, annulment, or death certificate from a correct issuing authority". I have attached the hospital's document where they have declared him dead. Is that require city corporation death certificate?
3. Police Certificate: it says "Part of this document is missing or is difficult to read. Please replace this with a scan that shows the complete text of the document. Please ensure all sides of every page are scanned and visible." I am not sure why it is not visible because i can see and read every point in that document and that was the only page police gave to my mother as part of the police report.
Do i need to send these as notarized?
Not sure what i am missing.
I thought this is not that difficult and did not work with a lawyer. Maybe i should contact a lawyer in Newyork?
