Getting Wife Permanent Residency without her living in US

To Whom It May Concern,

I have recently got married to my Chinese girlfriend on Sep. 6, 2010. The marriage took place in Shenyang, Liaoning Province, China at the Shenyang Marriage Bureau.

She does not want to live in USA, though I plan on relocating to China permanently by end of 2011.

What do I, or my wife, need to do to get her residence or citizenship status started. Reading your information on your website was very confusing for me. Other people have told me I need to wait 2 years from date of marriage.

Please let me know.

She can permanent residency (greencard) in the U.S. only if she plans to live permanently in the U.S. Otherwise, she can't get it.

Of course, she can't get citizenship right away. She needs green card first.
