  • Medical exam and crossing the border

    Hello everyone!

I have a question. I haven’t filed any form yet, but we wanted to go ahead of time and do the medical exam to have it ready to file it. The application is for my mother, the thing is that she did her medical exam here in the USA, because she will be applying for adjustment of status. Then she cross the border to Mexico, stayed three days and came back. I don’t know if by doing that medical exam she could not cross the border. Or if it’s ok to file even though she crossed the border after doing the medical exam. If anyone knows something about this topic please let me know.

It's generally permissible to cross the border after a medical exam for immigration purposes. However, consult with an immigration attorney for specific guidance on your situation.
