Can I sponsor my father?

My father lives in the US and is many years divorced, I am US born and 22 years of age, can i sponsor him and if so what would be required of us please?

Sponsor what? What is his legal status? If he is living here illegally than unfortunately you can sponsor him but he will be banned for US for ten years.
