Parent Green Card - marraige certificate

Hi ,I am trying to apply for my parents Green Card & Adj. of Status , since they are already in the country, I-485 requires me to provide my parents marraige certificate, which they do not have, what is the alternative , would an affidavit work . We are muslims and is there anything specific pertaining to muslim marraige ...............looking out for some useful insight.

Contact the local consultate or the embassy in DC, ask them, they may be able to provide afidavit type services or obtain notarized afidavits from 2 witnesses that attended their wedding.
