i751-waiting for interview, but has to leave country, has 10 yrs multiple entry visa

hi, i am waiting for interview for i751. but has to leave country for better job offer. can not wait till i get interviewd and get GC for 10 years. might not be able to maintain GC due to job ( my dream job). But i have 10 years multiple visitor visa issued in 2008 before i got married to my husband ( US citizen). my finger print appoint ment was on 09/27/2011. appeared for it. leaving country on 25th december to join univeristy job on 1st january 2012.
Can i come back in future on my valid visitors visa??
